A CPD record is a repositry of digital or written evidence, which you complete for all your learning activities.
To record your CPD entries, you’ll need to log in to the GPhC’s CPD Online system at . There is also a , such as iPads, which you might prefer to use instead.
When you registered with the GPhC, you will have been sent details of your username and password. You’ll need this along with your GPhC number to log into the CPD system.
What is the format for recording CPD?
Continuing professional development has a circular structure with four stages:
- Reflection: thinking about what you want to learn and why
- Planning: deciding how and when you will undertake your learning
- Action: recording what you’ve learnt
- Evaluation: identifying the benefits of your learning
You will need to record a minimum of nine entries a year all of which need to end at the evaluation stage. Since July 2011, three of your entries must start at reflection.

I've forgotten my username and/or password
You can use the to retrieve your username and password for the GPhC's online CPD recording system.
You'll need to be able to provide your registered postocde and date of birth in order for details of your credentials to be emailed to you. If you can't, these will be sent to you via post.

When does the CPD year run to/from?
A CPD year begins on the day you join or re-register with the regulator, and ends on the date that your registration expires.
If your record is called before your CPD year is over, you'll be expected to submit a pro-rata number of entries. E.g. If your registration expires in November and you are called for review in July, you'll still be expected to submit six out of the nine entries (two thirds).
